Every year our postgrad students run a free career counseling advice clinic. This year it is going to be run on 1/31/11 from 7:30 to 10 pm. You can partake of this in two ways
- Come to campus (200 N. Main Street, Hatfield, PA 19440) and meet face to face
- Call in (great if you don’t live in this area!)
If you are stuck and need a jump start on your career options and/or want to have your resume evaluated, this is a great opportunity at no cost to you. And you don’t just get a student, you get a student being supervised by our professors who have a ton of career counseling experience.
Call NOW for an appointment time that works for you. This is only 1 week away and space is limited! For more info, click the link above.
Mark it down! Monday, February 8 is Biblical’s annual free career clinic and it is open to the public? Need a jump-start to finding a new career? Want some advice on your resumé? Pam Smith and Debra Franke oversee recent MA grads (and now students in our postgrad Career Counseling class) in the clinic. Each year we get rave reviews for this. The students are well-trained AND you get 2 heads (the supervisor and the student) helping you come up with some new ideas.
Check out this Career Clinic Flyer 2010 (2) and call 215.368.5000, x106 to reserve a spot. I imagine that they will be glad to do phone appointments if you live outside of our region.
Part of Biblical Seminary’s advanced counselor training certificate for those pursuing licensure includes a course on career and lifestyle development. Led by two seasoned (experience…not old) career and job change counselors, the course includes a special free-of-charge career clinic on February 11 staffed by the students.
Appointments are available every half hour or so, and they recommend that you bring a résumé. They’ll help with questions you may have about getting a job, work situations, and overall career goals. If you are out of the area but would still like to take advantage of this opportunity, feel free to request that here in a comment and I’ll email you privately to get contact info. If you fax your resume to us, we’ll see about getting you a phone conference. Slots are limited.
