Click their “publications” tab for a host of full-text articles on the topic. Bessel van der Kolk, MD is one of the foremost researchers exploring trauma’s impact on the brain.

Thanks for this. I have seen B. van der Kolk’s name appearing on nearly every bibliography I read on this topic, and have been wondering where to start with his research.
I would also like to recommend Erin P. Finley’s FIELDS OF COMBAT, UNDERSTANDING PTSD AMONG VETERANS OF IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN, Cornell University, 2011. She is a VA investigation in San Antonio and her work is excellent.
